Long(er) Bio

boysIn 2005, Jesse married Rebekah, the love of his life. They have been blessed with four children. Their three boys Samuel, Issac and Josiah are wonderful older brothers to their sister Liberty. Jesse’s better half spends her days fruitfully homeschooling the boys, tutoring algebra and geometry for a nearby co-op and selling a variety of handcrafted items on her Etsy store. According to Jesse and most people who know them both, Rebekah is clearly the more talented and accomplished spouse.

After graduating from UCF with a degree in Computer Science in 2005, Jesse pursued a number of ministry opportunities through his church before launching a career in IT. After working with his brother’s IT managed service provider (MSP), he was hired as the Director of IT for a large medical practice in Orlando before returning to the MSP field as the Managing Partner for Certified Network Associates which has offices in Casselberry, FL. His firm provides computer network support services for small to medium size businesses. Jesse is also a member of the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce and periodic speaker and writer on various technology related issues.

IMG_1680While he has never made a career out of politics, his passion for it has always led him to be involved. In 2008, after the election of President Obama, he became concerned about the direction of our country and started an initiative called Citizen2Citizen which provided training classes for people looking to get involved in the political process for the first time.

He realized in 2010 that several Supreme Court Justices were up for a merit retention vote and people throughout the state were frustrated at the difficulty of finding helpful information about the records of the Justices. So, he formed Restore Justice and travelled throughout the state distributing judicial voter guides, an effort which resulted in a historic number of votes being cast for judicial candidates.

In 2012 he was hired to run the campaign of Bob Cortes and had the privilege of helping elect Seminole County’s first Hispanic State Representative. Immediately afterwards, he was elected as the Secretary of the Seminole County GOP by a unanimous vote of acclamation. In 2016 he was elected by Republican voters throughout Seminole County as the party’s State Committeeman, where he serves and works to make sure that Republican candidates get elected.
